Great success of Kompas' product on the US market 07. 09. 2010.
Kompas' sales network, operating within the framework of the adriatica.net Group, is registering outstanding interest for travel into Croatia. The first group of no less than one hundred guests will be visiting Croatia on October 10th.
Adriatica.net Group’s international network, or member companies of Kompas Holidays, to be exact, has recently put out an offer for an eight-day tour of Croatia on the US market. The tour consists of visits to Zagreb, Split, Opatija, Dubrovnik and Istria, where the passengers will have the chance to visit the wine cellars of Agrolaguna and sample Istrian wines.
This new programme was met with a surprising interest from the American public and the first group of more than one hundred passengers was sold out within a very short time. This group will in October depart from Miami to visit our parts, while the remain departures will be realised throughout the winter.
adriatica.net Group developed from the www.adriatica.net online travel agency. First major enlargement happened in 2004, when the agency took over Atlas Airtours, one of the first tour operators in Croatia.
The expansion continued in 2005, when the company entered German, Dutch and Slovenian markets by taking over ID Riva Tours Gmbh, Odisej and Ilirika Turizem travel agencies. A further step towards enlargement of the Group had been made in 2006, when ATLAS Travel Agency and Kompas JSC, present at more than 26 markets, became members of adriatica.net Group. Jolly Travel, Serbia’s leading tour operator, joined the Group in 2007.
