Recorded a significant rise in passengers on Atlas' boat fleet 26. 07. 2010.

Atlas Travel Agency and other members of adriatica.net Group put together have recorded an 8 % rise in numbers of transported passengers.

Day trip offer of Atlas Travel Agency and other members of adriatica.net Group is achieving outstanding results in sales, with figures at this moment exceeding last year’s by 8 %. Should there be no unfavourable occurrences which might disrupt the sale plans, it is expected for the Atlas’ boat fleet, the biggest of the like in the country, to achieve a 15 % growth in comparison with the last season.

Day trip offer of Atlas and Kompas travel agencies comprises of excursions divided into cultural (coastal and continental) and adventure programmes. Excursions include places such as NP Mljet, the Elaphites (Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud islands), panoramic trips around Dubrovnik with tours of the city, Mediterranean Gardens in Trsteno, Ston, folklore of Cilipi, the flavours of Konavle, agrotourism of Konavle, wine tour of Peljesac, Ston and Korcula, photo-safari on the Neretva river. Apart from the wide range of trips departing from Dubrovnik, domestic and international guests are also transported by boats on day trips departing from Korcula, Makarska, Hvar, Brac, Split, Trogir, Sibenik, Kvarner bay and the Istrian peninsula.

Excellent results are further confirmed by the fact that 4000 passengers have been transferred to Brioni islands from Porec and Rovinj only, while nearly 5500 passengers took the boat rides to central Dalmatia, Hvar, Brac, Korcula and Mljet. With the aim of attracting larger numberof visitors to Mali Losinj, five transfers from Venice have been planned, each Saturday beginning from July 24th.

adriatica.net Group developed from the www.adriatica.net online travel agency. First major enlargement happened in 2004, when the agency took over Atlas Airtours, one of the first tour operators in Croatia.

The expansion continued in 2005, when the company entered German, Dutch and Slovenian markets by taking over ID Riva Tours Gmbh, Odisej and Ilirika Turizem travel agencies. A further step towards enlargement of the Group had been made in 2006, when ATLAS Travel Agency and Kompas JSC, present at more than 26 markets, became members of adriatica.net Group.

Jolly Travel, Serbia’s leading tour operator, joined the Group in 2007.
