Sixt named the world's best car rental company 17. 07. 2009.

Travel + Leisure, the international travel magazine, chose the best car rental company in 2009. The award will be presented on July 21st in New York.

Sixt, Europe’s leading car rental company, won the best car rental company in Europe award. The award is presented by the Travel + Leisure travel magazine and is based on independent and objective votes by readers and users, who voted according to the criteria of choice, accessibility, office locations, service and price. According to them, Sixt offers its users the best overall service.

This award highlights Sixt’s leading role in the world’s car rental industry, based on high quality service and vehicles, as well as innovation and efficiency.

In 2008 Sixt franchise holder for Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina became Atlas d.d., a member of adriatica.net Group.
