Outstanding Sales Results of Atlas Airtours during the Easter and May Day Holidays 22. 04. 2009.
Atlas Airtours, the biggest Croatian tour operator and member of adriatica.net Group, has registered a 50 % increase in the realisation of tours in comparison with the same period last year, while identical trends are emerging for May Day departures.
Atlas Airtours, the biggest Croatian tour operator and member of adriatica.net Group, is registering excellent sales results in the European bus tours’ segment, city break packages for European cities and group departures for long haul destinations. The realisation for the said products has thus risen by 50 % in comparison with the Easter holidays period last year. Identical trends are being recorded for May Day departures, with emphasis on own-transfer packages on the Adriatic. Among these, the most notable are the Holidaymakers’ Club packages for Pag and Vrsar. There is also considerable interest for packages that include extra value, such as wellness facilities, additional activities and recreational facilities.
adriatica.net Group developed from the www.adriatica.net online travel agency. First major enlargement happened in 2004, when the agency took over Atlas Airtours, one of the first tour operators in Croatia.
The expansion continued in 2005, when the company entered German, Dutch and Slovenian markets by taking over ID Riva Tours Gmbh, Odisej and Ilirika Turizem travel agencies. A further step towards enlargement of the Group had been made in 2006, when ATLAS Travel Agency and Kompas JSC, present at more than 26 markets, became members of adriatica.net Group.
Jolly Travel, Serbia’s leading tour operator, joined the Group in 2007.
